Julia has extensive experience conducting academic, policy-focused and applied research on topics related to migration, refugees and humanitarian response. She holds a DPhil in International Development and an MSc in Forced Migration and Refugee Studies from the University of Oxford. She also has professional experience working in the fields of refugee resettlement and camp coordination & camp management. Julia specialises in qualitative research and has a passion for inclusive and participatory research with marginalised communities. Since joining Jigsaw, Julia has worked on both qualitative and large-scale mixed methods research projects on topics related to girls’ and refugees’ education.
